Another Al'ar wipe night, this time he went down to 30%, before the add tank died. I had 3 fire circles below me and I was able to live through them all. It costed me 3 healthstones, though. The damn thing really does not give enough time to run, even with 200ms latency. You have to start running (my \ key) and use the life saver (my F1 key).
As to meteors, I'm managing fine, just keep in motion.
Top healer, top priest Hot'er, 4th in overheal. My platform tank died once coz I got los'ed doing the life saver Greater Heal. Bad luck, no time to do anything.
The most important thing to retain is that I never went OOM ! Never used a mana pot, only a shadowfiend once just to play safe.
The problems with this boss in phase 2:

• Dying DPS ppl.
  
• Tanking problems with meteor falling far from them or not using spell reflect on it.
  
• Taunt resists when armor melts (solved using 3 tanks)
  
• Fire circles showing up on them and they stand there..

Two epics in one day: First 25-raid epic

Yay, got Fel Reaver's Piston last night for Tarithel, a nice drop from TK's VoidReaver. I like "Equip -only" trinkets, instead of those dreadful "Use" ones. I will make nice use of this since, besides direct healings with flash/greater heal, I spam Circle of Healing for mage groups and for my own group when we get AOE targetted by casters.

And, just before dinner, I was leveling a bit with Alfragitax, when, out of a Pterrodax in Un'goro, came this Axe of the Deep Woods.
Long time since I got one epic. I think my last was a Shadowblade when Tarithel was still 50ish.

A bit more progress.
On PVP Netcownt got the S3 [Vengeful Gladiator’s Piercing Touch] .Tarithel got the [Merciless Gladiator’s Salvation] and enchanted Spellsurge on it. AloneInTheDark reached ranking 1530 after a successful 8-2 and 7-3 weeks. Arena 2v2 is rocking. I win about all games when a holy priest is not around. Or a healer, in general

PVEwise, on Frostmane, we’ve been wiping on TK Al’ar phase 2 the last weeks, the key for smooth add killing is still to be found. I died twice on the fire circles, but now I think I managed it. Now confortably on the top 3 healers with little overhealing, nice for ego. Looking at recount graphs after a raid is useful too. I’ve finally been to Zul’Aman, and killed the first boss and nearly the second, after learning to deal with the trash waves. Nasty.

On my little dual-man Onyxia project, I cleared UBRS but found out Drakkisath fight is no-can-do for 2 70’s. Luckily, a nice mage came a long with a rogue and we beat him. After that, I had to try Onyxia. The adds are piece of cake with the felguard tanking. But… Onyxia has a problem: AGGRO. Felguard/VW controls the event until a taunt gets resisted or misses. Then Onyxia jumps on Tarithel and most times, not even Fade helps. I got her down to 90% but that was it. I plan on getting some more aggro redux stuff (-2% threat on cloak, equipping my threat trinket, threat pot,etc), and will try again, also alternating Netcownt’s pet health channelling with Tari’s healing to balance the agro on both chars.

On Lightbringer I’ve been leveling Patalógica a bit (54), nothing much, and did some questing with Ulik/Vitinho. Also, I created a little BE hunter (22 atm) to get to know the BE starting quests. Did them all. I should do the same with the Draeneis, but… /yawn.

Work on 70’s has stopped, until I find the potion for elasticity of free time. Megabbyte, my old pal, leveled a 70 rogue on Chromaggus and is now S1 geared, so next month we’ll have some late night ganking in Orgrimmar.

Moonprince in Karazhan, LBRS farmed

Netcownt has won the S3 [Vengeful Gladiator’s Felweave Handguards], activating the fear set bonus for the gladiator set and Taríthel will win the Season 2 Salvation mace next week, which will give her exactly +1700 healing. YAY!
All of this because I realized I’m actually pretty good winning arenas on my own, actually doing better without any Emule latency legal exploitation. I simply buff, heal, shield and fear with Taríthel, while Netcownt does what he knows best: KILL ! This week, my AloneInTheDark team won 7 out of 10 and finished with ~1420. Next week my goal is to get to 1500. Of course the cretins will say “Bah, that’s a low ranking. Ya, cretin, try to get that ranking by playing alone with 2 computers, 2 keyboards and 2 toons against 2 real players. Then talk again”.

On PVE, I’ve downed Solarian in TK, YAHOO! Morogrim is now under attack, but the damn boss seems much harder than the others, Lurker included. I’ve also farmed like 15 primals (with dailies, actually) for the guild to build the resistance gear for Hydross. Hopefully I get some DKP from that.

On the light PVE side, Moonprince has healed my Lords of Midnight guild on Chromaggus through the first 3 bosses in Karazhan, and guess what ? It’s doable LOL. I’ve got less than +1000 healing, but still, with a few buffs, mp5, food, oils, etc, the boost gets it going.
Patalogica, my troll mage, is now 48. Alfragitax the Warrior is 52. Go Go Go ! The goal is to have a 70 of each class by the time the expansion is released.

Goal for this month is to visit Zul’Aman with the guild.

Goal for a near future is to beat Onyxia with Netcownt and Taríthel. I’ve got my UBRS key, so all I need is to drive Tarithel up to Drakkisath and get the Drakefire Amulet for her.

My pala Moonprince, my rogue Matadora and druid Cornelius are now 70 (5×70’s now!) and I’m again enjoying ganking in Orgrimmar, alone or with some rogue friends. On the PVE side,Tarithel continues healing for PORTUCALE, Lurker in SSC and Void Reaver in Tempest Keep are down.
I’ve seen a glimpse of ZUl’Aman, and I’ve run all Kara but the last boss. Now, it’s time to run some heroics. On the private side, my server is now setup and working fine, and I’ve paid a visit the Hyjal Summit, Black Temple, etc. Looks like I wont be visiting it for real anytime soon.
On PVP, Netcownt is stalled, I lost a bit of interest in gladiating.. To get the Gladiator set ? When the extension comes out, all that crap will again turn obsolete in days. Meanwhile, my expertise is good enough to deal with all those S1 geared honor leeching noobs.
I’d like to help Lords of Midnight running Kara/Zul’, but my pala gear is too crap, My healing was good enough to heal through Shadow Labs and Arcatraz for Kara attunement, with no wipes. As a bonus, I got a Primal Nether from Black Morass, so I crafted an Engineering plate helmet for healing. As a dps, I’ve got humilliated LOL, nearly did as much damage as a totem.
By the way, I figured out a glitch in the WoW 2.3 patch, so that my lock and priest (self-controlled) are able to win Arenas HA HA HA. By tuning Emule on my server to increase the Upload to maximum, my latency goes sky high and all the melees have a hard time hitting me. Moral of the story, last week I won 3 out of 10 arenas, and a few points.
Meanwhile, Alfragitax the warrior and Patalogica the mage are leveling, now 50 and 47.

I had to break WoW for a month to improve my health condition. Now I’m back, and finally some high-end PVE again. I’ve transferred both Netcownt and Tarithel to Frostmane, and joined PORTUCALE , a nice guild with over 50 active 70’s and a friendly environment. I already downed Maulgar and Gruul, and we’re starting SSC now. Tari is now around +1400 healing and guess what, not even one Heroic or Kara gear. Lurker below looks hard, though. Netcownt is unfortunately not usable in this guild since every single kid these days has a lock alt, but I’m easily able to run Kara PUGs, because the server population is very high. On Chromaggus, Matadora and Moon prince (my old pala) are approaching 70 with my dual leveling SW, and Lords of Midnight finally started Kara. Cornelius is stalled at 67. I’m skipping serious PVP for now, only collecting honor points for Season 1 Arena Set and Vindicator. Amazing how AV times are now around 13-16 mins. Waiting for patch 2.3 and the Zul(Gurub)’Aman.

PVP saga continues. I now own 2 season 2 items and 1 season 1 item, plus all the non-set epics, ring, necklace, with over 300 resillience. I now farm the Alliance medallion, and then may be replacing my marshal silk stuff for some veteran stuff. Got exalted with Skyriders, meaning my epic fly mount is now a giant squid. I’m also revered with Netherwing, and able to earn ~240g on dalies. Tarithel got the Whitemend set, and went a few times to Karazhan up to Moroes. As to high-end PVE…stil thinking what should I do, since my Lords of Midnight guild has stalled. Guild Master and main officers are AFK for months, and will continue to be, itseems. I’ve setup a private server to visit Kara, Tempest Keep, SSC, etc c, but it’s kinda lonely. PVP has a problem, it severely affects my stress. I’m not a teen anymore. Fuck. On horde side, Cornelius is 65, Clarabela stalled at 63 and Patalogica is slowly going up at 41. My new Alfragitax warrior on Balnazzar is also 40+. But I’m to fed up to level my 61 pala and 61 rogue…. WoW is not fun anymore. WTB Challenges or I’ll be quitting soon..
